xps all-in-one lcd Panel

I have a two year old XPS all in one touchscreen and the LCD panel went out on me. When I say went out I mean it blinks and scrolls so much you can’t even make out what is on the screen. I have been working with dell phone support for over two months to no avail. Tonight I was told they no longer manufacture the replacement part for the XPS 110. So basically I have a $2000.00 paperweight. Can anyone help me with my dilemma? Dell certainly won’t.!

What specific XPS All In One model? Has the purchased warranty expired? What is the service tag number?

Hi Dave, it is XPS 2710 and yes the warranty expired. I have read it could be heat related, motherboard, chipset and power issues. any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

The back of the XPS One 2710 has an HDMI OUT port. Connect an HDMI cable to that and the other end of the HDMI cable into an external monitor HDMI in. Power both on. Does anything appear on the external monitor?

The LCD panel part number is NW5DK. Very expensive.
