Dell Inspiron 530s Upgrades
I have a Dell Inspiron 530s with the Dell G33M02 motherboard. I have since transferred the motherboard to an mATX case. I've been looking at getting a faster processor. Will it support the Intel Core 2 Duo E8500? It says here http://en.community.dell.com/dell-groups/gaming/f/3344/p/19465072/20203019#20203019 but I just want to make sure. Also, what's the max RAM it can support? I've seen people say it's 4GB and others have said 8GB. I was looking at for the ram

Yes, the Wolfdale Core 2 Duo, E8500, 3.16GHz, 6MB, 1333FSB, 65W processor is supported.
Prior to installing the processor you need to check that you have the latest BIOS Version is installed, as support for new Intel CPU's was added.
4gb of memory is the max, for the G33M02 motherboard.
