Dell Optiplex 755 Graphics Card Upgrade

Hello,

I have an Optiplex 755, desktop, not the mini tower version. I would like to upgrade my card to something that will work in Windows 10. It does not have to be high end, just something that will work on Windows 10. I also would like something that will work with the stock PSU. Thanks for any help.

ASUS EAH6450 works in all models EXCEPT USFF Because USFF has no slots.

Dell Branded cards look like this.  The Asus Card has no fan and is therefore SILENT and fits fine in the slot which is low and narrow.

Hi Speedstep,

Thanks for your reply. Could you recommend any other cards so I can comparison shop? Thanks for your help!

There are VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY FEW Choices for LOW PROFILE Single Slot 25W range cards. Mini Towers have 305W power supplies and therefore can use 75W cards.

There is a 6570 that should be fine

.1GB ATI HD6570 HALF-HEIGHT LOW PROFILE VIDEO CARD 11013037 109-C24157-00

Other cards have heatsinks that are too tall or too wide that wont fit into the case.

What power supply wattage would work if it does?

Specs:

4gb ram

windows 7 64-bit

nvidia geforce 8400gs

250 gb seagate hard drive

Thank you.

It will work with a 620 Tower. Other models it will not physically fit due to the slot being narrow and the heatsink sticking up too far.
