GX270 CPU support

I have a GX270 with OU1324 mainboard. Upon a reboot attempt, I got a solid amber power light. I suspect the CPU has gone bad. I need to know what processors this board supports. And if that information is available to the general public. I support several different Dell series workstations and this info would surely be handy.
Thanks.

The specs for the GX270 can be found here.

It uses the 865G chipset, which means it can support up to a 533MHz FSB. The maximum processor is the 3.06GHz P4 with hyperthreading.

Correction: I was thinking the GX260. GX270 supports indeed 800MHz FSB. This would go beyond 3.06GHz, but I'm not sure if Dell ever offered all the way up to 3.8GHz (if the bios has support for that). I believe all P4's with a 478 socket and with 800MHz were hyperthreaded (not Celerons and not 775 socket).

There's conflicting info. The Dell Technical Specs page says the mainboard will support 800, 533 & 400 clock speeds.

Intel site says 865G chipset will support P4-3.80GHz HT Extreme/2MB/800. I would like to get a definitive answer on exactly what CPU this board will support. I would like to see it in print. The tech spec pages do not specify what processors it will support.
I plan on buying the fastest processor the board will support but do not want to purchase until I know for SURE what to buy.
Thanks for your help.

Did a live chat session with Dell tech support who advised me to call their sales department.
(at 8004563355) I was told they had the specifics on the board and the cpu support. Seems if sales had that info, tech support should too. Tech support said the board would support ANY P4-socket 478 HT cpu. I ordered a P4-3.0GHz/1M/800 HT. I'll test that one and see if it works. Won't take but a second to find out if it works. :)

I have the same problems on some of my workstation when the warranty is coming close to the end.
