How much RAM can I install on a XPS

I have a Dimension/XPS I bought in 2003 with 4 x 512 RAM. Is that the max i can install or can I upgrade to 4 gigs of RAM.

Thanks

I Have "J0202 DIMM 512, 400MHz, 64x64, 8K, 184"

Hello GrizzWaul, It would be useful to know the exact model number of your system.

I would go the the Crucial wed site and run the memory configurator and let Crucial recommend memory that will work in you model system.

I would suggest replacing the current memory with newer memory of the same specifications, since the newer memory may not be compatible with your original memory.

Hope this helps.
