I want to upgrade the RAM of my existing Vostro 470 (purchased late 2012)
I wasn't able to find any information on the web about the mainboard specs (DELL 0NW73C). I would like to know what kind of ram (max. clock, volts...) and how much modules I can use.
Dell Vostro 470 has four internally-accessible DDR3 DIMM sockets. It uses Non-ECC, quad channel DDR3 1333MHz and 1600MHz and it can go up to a maximum of 32GB memory modules. These memories are designed with 1.5v in it.

DDR3 PC3-12800 • CL=11 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR3-1600 • 1.5V • 1024Meg x 64 •
Memory Type: DDR3 PC3-12800, DDR3 (non-ECC)
Maximum Memory: 32GB
Slots: 4
Although the memory can be installed one module at a time,
the best performance comes from using matched pairs of modules.
How much memory your Windows OS will recognize depends on which
version of Windows you are running. 32-bit versions of Windows
will see (and utilize) only 3GB or 3.5GB. To utilize more memory,
install a 64-bit version of your OS.
