How to enable Integrated and Addtional Graphic Card on E521?

Hi There,

Today I bought DELL E521 and the system specification are:

Dell Dimension E521

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core 4200+

2048MB Dual Channel DDR2 533MHz [2x1024]

Monitor 17 inch Flat Panel Integrated nVidia GeForce 6150 LE graphics

Additional Graphic Card: 256MB nVidia GeForce 7300 Turbocache graphics card

250GB (7200rpm) Serial ATA Hard Drive with 8MB DataBurst cache

Windows XP Professional

I was quite disappointed after finding that I can't plug three monitors to this computer as I had done before with my old computer. I tried to connect one monitor to integrated graphics card and other two with the additional graphical card. Two connected with the additional card is working fine. As a I plugged the third monitor on integrated card, system gave me "unsupported" message. I spoke to technical guys on phone, they said it is not technical possible to have two cards working at the same time. I know it is possible as it was working before on my old computer. I think they have configured the system to disable the integrated card, if you plug additional graphical card into the system. Does anybody know here how to enable both cards?

So, this means we should advice other people who want to use three computers not to buy Dimension: E521

Is it really a shame...

Any other suggestions please.

You cannot, at least not with Windows. It's either the video card in the expansion slot or the onboard, but not both.

Get a PCI or a PCI-E X 1 Video card for the third monitor as the PCI-Express x 16 Video Slot disables the Intergrated Video when a card is inserted in it.
The PCI and PCI-E X 1 Slots should still work though.
