Thanks Bev!
The LED is a solid amber light, no blinking both for the LCD SCREEN and CPU.

Is the power button LED, solid amber, or blinking amber?
Check the sequence of the four diagnostic lights on the front panel.
The Dimension 9150 Diagnostic Guide and Troubleshooter, is HERE.

Are any of the four Diagnostic lights Lite?
A Solid Amber power switch LED, indicates a device might be malfunctioning or incorrectly installed, try the following and see if it makes a difference.
Remove and then reinstall the memory modules.
Remove and then reinstall any cards.
Remove and then reinstall the graphics card, if applicable.
Ensure that all power cables are securely connected to the system board.

I'm not certain what you mean, it's very simple to connect the power and SATA data cables to a hard drive, as the connectors are 'Keyed' to avoid mistakes.
Did you remove both the power and data cables from hard drives.
THIS will show you how to connect the power and data cables to the 9150 SATA hard drive.
When there's two hard drives installed, the primary C: / SATA hard drive's data cable must be connected to the motherboard's SATA-0 connector, see HERE

Bev, thanks again
I meant I can't identify whether which dirve is my primary and which is my secondary after I unplug the connector from the drives.
Sorry, I was unclear of what I did.. but will check out again.
The CPU still turn amber .
Thanks.
