Need help with computer powering down - need help with what I found
When I connect to the internet my computer automatically powers down. I have done quite a bit up to this point and here is where I'm at now.
I set the Power Options Properties - Advanced - Power button to Ask me what to do. When this was set to Power Down the system would automatically power down when I enabled my network connection via an Ether Net Cable to my DSL Modem, or plugged in the Ether Net Cable.
It now will pop up the power down options and connect to the internet, but even if I hit cancel it pop back up 15 or so times and the system will finally power down.
I checked the Event Viewer and here are the messages I got just prior to powerdown.
Last Information event is -
The system detected that network adapter \DEVICE\TCPIP_{55E1F3FD-B1C0-411E-BD4D-C1C8C34FA193} was disconnected from the network, and the adapter's network configuration has been released. If the network adapter was not disconnected, this may indicate that it has malfunctioned. Please contact your vendor for updated drivers.
The next entry is an Error message -
The System Restore filter encountered the unexpected error '0xC000009A' while processing the file 'VSSBEQFF.00E' on the volume 'HarddiskVolume2'. It has stopped monitoring the volume.
The next entry is also an Error message -
Unable to start a DCOM Server: {73E709EA-5D93-4B2E-BBBO-99B7938DA9E4}. the error:
"Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service."
Happened while starting this command:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\wmiprvse.exe -Embedding
This error is repeated 13 times.
