Optiplex 780 restore

Can a system or pc restore be performed on the optiplex 780?

Hi Olegray,

Welcome to Dell community.

In response to your query, you can surely do a system restore to an earlier restore point, this will not make any changes to the data on the computer but will make changes to the recently installed software. Coming to the PC restore, yes if you have an option to do a PC restore with the recovery partition available on the computer, you can surely perform it & this will take the computer to the factory defaults (factory image restore) with all the data getting deleted, hence before doing a PC restore it is recommended to back up all the data.

Find below the links which will guide you through the steps to perform PC restore & System restore.

System Restore:

PC restore:

Let us know if this helps.

Thanks & regards
