Problem with video & capture card Optiplex 755

When I have my VGA monitor plugged into the integrated VGA port and I plug in an Avermedia PCIe (1X) video capture card in the PCIe slot and boot the PC, I get feedback stating "Unsupported Video Configuration Detected" and basically all I can do is shut down the PC and pull out the capture card and then reboot.  It thinks the capture card is a video card, but of course it is not.  Is there a way I can override the detection scheme and force normal video to use the integrated VGA port so I can get the PC booted and then attempt to use the capture card?
