What Is Realtek High Definition Audio?

What Is Realtek High Definition Audio? It is listed to be uninstalled, which I would like to do,but I don't know what it is.

In Device Manager, it says it is not connected to my computer.

That is the "integrated" (on the motherboard) sound.  If that is what you have, you do not want to uninstall it.  If you have a separate SoundBlaster sound card then you can uninstall it.  Actually, if you have the SoundBlaster the Integrated audio should be disabled in the BIOS (F2 - Setup) or you could run into a sound conflict problem.
