seriously who needs that. do you mean 3 core?

no 8 cores, who needs that? well since intel isn't makig faster ghz eg moose law, they are just adding cores, and in two years that might be helpful

also why not have 8 cores? lol

matlab will run sweet as on 8 cores, its miles ahead of excel and other spread sheet programs

Eight core CPUs will start on the server side, but the workstation applications are pretty enormous for science, engineers and digital artist to name a few. Vista will drive dual core adooption and some big software titles will start pushing multiple threads over the next year to be included in the Vista plus dual core marketing blitz.

and 8 core cpu computer will only be fully useful to a large business like citigroup. It could skyrocket, or got to rock bottom.
