This Is My System And Everything Seems To Run Fine But A Little Slow.I Ran Every Test That Can Be Run And The Memory Always Comes Up At About Half Speed Compaired To Other Computers With The Same Configiration As Mine.I have 3mb of pc5300 ddr2 667mhz.could someone Tell Me The Reason For This.I Have 2-512 Sticks Of Samsung That Came With The Computer And 2-1meg Sticks I Bought From Crucial.The Tests I Ran Where Pc Wizzard,Memtest And The Online Pc PitStop.The People At Crucial Said The Memory Should Work Fine Together.Could I Have Something Set Wrong?

Do this Download the free program CPU-z. Run the program and it will give you info on your motherboard and more importantly the memory. these will be on the memory tab and the SPD tab.

I suspect that the memory may not be truly compatable. ensure the memory is installed in the proper slots..ie two of the same in slots 1 & 2 and two of the same in slots 3 & 4.

There is a program called CCleaner. It helps to speed your system up by cleaning out your temp. internet files, recycle bin, catche, and other places.... check it out at:  www.ccleaner.com

 

or add some more RAM to your system.
