red light on motherboard...

Should there be a red/orange LED illuminated on the
motherboard, or is this indicative of a resource
conflict? The system is working well enough to permit me to go online and produce this message,
but it boots to a "Resource Conflict - PCI Network Controller" message, and will eventually freeze or
crash if I perform certain functions, like downloading
attachments. Please Help!

Thanks very much in advance!!

State Dell model and operating system, (os), and any special features on your pc. Are you referring to a red light at the back,(rear) of the tower or something internal on the actual mainboard?

If you mean the orange light that is on the motherboard near the processor, that is a power indicator light. It will be lit whenever your system is plugged into a live outlet.

I really appreciate your reply.
I now realize what you've stated.
False alarm on my part, eh?
Thanks Again!
