T7400 - Cpu installed in incorrect socket
Hello everyone! I own a Dell Precision T7400 and I had an issue with the motherboard. Some cathodes which used to control the cpu were fried so I fixed them. But when I tried to turn on my pc it would freeze. So I installed the CPU in the second socket. It is working perfectly!
The isssue is that now, everytime I turn on the pc, I get this message:
Alert! CPU installed in incorrect socket. Strike the F1 key to continue, F2 to run setup utility. Press F5 to run onboard diagnostics.
Even though I have tried pressing the F5 button(and the diagnostics do not find any problem), I still get the message. So I am stuck to always press F1 when I turn on my PC.
Is there any way to disable onboard diagnostics or this cpu message particularly?

Welcome to the Dell Community @alvin11
Try disabling this option in your BIOS.
I'm not sure if it is just for Keyboard Errors or for all errors???
Keyboard Errors:
When set to Report (enabled) and an error is detected during POST, the BIOS will display the error message and prompt you to press to continue or press to enter the system setup program.
When set to Do Not Report (disabled) and an error is detected during POST, the BIOS will display the error message and continue booting the system.
Best regards,
