What about Avamar as a service ? That's what we do !

I am Kim Farry. I work in New Product Readiness. Presently, I am working on UIM 2.0. I am somewhat new to EMC. I came from HP. I've done training, business development, presales. and marketing.  I am a EMC Professional, and have other certifications.

We took a hard look at Avamar but it just didnt fit the scale and costs required for the taget market. I'm in the second smallest state capital in Australia so there arent many larger businesses who want such a service. We target small businesses who cant manage their own IT themselves or want to get rid of the hassle of changing backup tapes daily.

CommVault came to the party with a unique licensing model for us which made it much easier to get the system up and running with relatively low initial expenditure.

I am Sijohn Mathew.  I am working as a Sr. Documentum Consultant. Part of documentum implemetation/upgrade/migration for many fortune 500 clients.

I am E20-120 certified and preparing for E20-475 (EMCTA) certification.

Training recommendations for Symmetrix Specialist certifications will depend on the role you perform (Storage Administrator, Implementation Engineer, etc.) as well as your affiliation to EMC.

Selecting a link below will bring you to a listing of all active EMC exams.  You can view the recommended curriculum by clicking on an exam name.  Clicking on the exam number in the top right corner of this page will open an exam description document and a link to a practice test.

If you are a partner, you may also to speak with your manager and the EMC Channel Account Manager.  EMC Partners have contractual obligations to get a certain number of employees certified.  Your manager should let you know if your certification achievement needs to be counted against that obligation.

Frnz i have a task where the master agent needs to be upgraded to a newer version for solaris2.7 host,the present master agent version is 5.2.0.0.0.

Could anyone tel me where can i find the best compatible and latest master agent version information.. m trying it in power link, request for some other best recommendations, where i can find the compatibility and latest versions...

Hi everybody,

after 10+ years in Documentum business, plus some time in the Support Forums, I finally took E20-465 and E20-120 exam, in that order :-))

So I got my EMCPA and my EMCSyA at the same day

Finally I can run around wearing the same T-Shirt like all the other cool dudes.
