Documentum certifications - Do they expire?

Hello all

I have a question regarding Documentum certifications? Do they expire at some point? What happens with certifications that are no longer available (or I am not able to find the equivalent...) such as the EMCTA Application Architecture or the EMCApD (v5)?

If they expire, does one have to take the full exam again or is there something like a "bridge" exam?

Throw the Certmetrics site, all certifications have as Expiration Date = N/A

Thank you

Hello. Once you earn a certification, you have that certification forever - it does not expire. With that said, it is recommended that you re-test every three years or so to keep up with the changes in technology. WRT the application architecture and systems architecture certifications, the related exams have been retired as they were not current with the technology. We are working on a plan to create new exams to replace those offerings but we do not yet have an expected date. As we get this information, we will make it available. If you currently hold a TA certification, you will continue to hold it, regardless of whether there is an accompanying test available.

Does that help?

Thanks.

Just a general enquiry. Is there a advantage in having all the documentum certifications .Also the brochure content  says exam content is updated as of 2015, does it mean it may refer to topics created after that?
