E20-547 test

HI

I am hoping to take the E20-547 exam soon as I just took the class for it. But I just want to verify if there are any requirements for it.

I know that the E10-001 ISM is mentioned but is it a pre-requisite? Do I need to take it before? I have the E20-050 exam does that count?

Can the tests be taken in any order?

thanks

Hello -

E20-050, EMC Technology Foundations – CLARiiON is not accepted as a qualifying foundational level credential on the road to earning the Storage Administrator, VNX Solutions Specialist Version 7.0 (EMCSA).

Although you do not have to take the E10-001 Information Storage and Management exam before taking the E20-547 VNX Solutions Specialist Exam for Storage Administrators you do need to hold the ISM credential before you can earn the Specialist level credential.

So yes, you can take the exams in any order. You can continue with your studies and take the E20-547 exam. The results will be recorded in your CertTracker account until you complete all of the requirements to earn the credential.

Hi,

Any specialist level certifications require ISM to be completed. If you have completed E20-050 (Clariion Foundations I beleive) , then you must have completed ISM also already. So you should be able to go for E20-547 now. If you have not done ISM (either E10-001 or E20-001) then ISM is a pre-requisite.

Thanks
