Dell Command Update Application Error
We're getting the same message on multiple systems when using the Dell Command Update: "Warning: A problem occurred while checking for updates. The operation was aborted. See the activity log for the specific failure details." When checking the log it's always the same application error: GUI-UVM15 Load of update catalog data failed.
We need this fixed as soon as possible please.
Also as an FYI - The initial message saying there is an error has the word "Occurred" spelled wrong! (see attachment.)

I'm getting this error today too. I tried re-installing the update software without success. Hope Dell resolves this issue soon.

Same problem. Suspect it's Dell's not our problem.

Still getting this today. At a client site, so it really is wasting my time and the clients money...?

Do you have any sort of time estimate on when the Dell Command Update will function properly again?

Workaround: go to support.dell.com, enter the service tag, navigate to the Drivers & Downloads section and use System Analysis (Dell System Detect) to find and install the needed driver updates.
Not perfect but better than nothing.

Is there another forum or status page where outages and updates would be reported, or is this thread the best source of information regarding this problem?
