Unknown device - Latitude 5480, Optiplex 7050
Deploying Windows 7 Enterprise x64 to Latitude 5480 and Optiplex 7050. Both have 6th gen processor. Both show an unknown device in device manager. I'm using the latest Dell driver packs for these models. I've attempted to download the drivers individually and install them but still no luck. Anyone know what the unknown device is?

I figured this one out. TPM was being enabled in the BIOS during the Windows 7 deployment task sequence. Once I disabled TPM in the BIOS the unknown device went away.

Hi Chrisr70,
Would you perhaps have some more information on the missing device? Within the properties of this unknown device on the "Details" tab you should be able to retreive the "Hardware ID" this can help to identify the device for which the driver is missing.
