Win7 Driver Pack for E5550 not showing Free Fall Data Protection in Control Panel

Used Dell Driver Packs with MDT to image two laptops (E5550/E5540) with Win7 Pro SP1 x64 (vanilla/stock) & 'Free Fall Data Protection' doesn't show up in Control Panel or in Uninstall Programs; yet the driver is seen in Device Manager (which has no errors, no does MDT complain of anything). How can I tell if it is enabled/working?

This icon is seen on a stock Dell image & if I manually install the driver from support.dell.com. I don't necessary need/want the Control Panel icon, just want to make sure its working as indicated

Things I've tried:

  1. E5550 tried driver pack A04 & A05
  2. E5540 A08
  3. Searched registry for 'microelectronics' & found a couple unique things, the most being HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ST_Accel. Installed driver manually & toggled it on/off via Control Panel & didn't see any values changes really at any of the registry locations
  4. Tried my best to use procmon while toggling sensor on/off (installed driver manually) to see what changed & I couldn't find anything
