Hi Jim,

To obtain help on using Powerlink, you can use the feedback options on the Powerlink site or you can send an email directly to the links given below.

  • software@emc.com for assistance with any problems/issues with software registration, software downloads, or requests for physical CD shipments.

  • powerlink@emc.com for basic login access issues with the Powerlink system.

  • support@emc.com for questions related to other eServices such as WebSupport, eLab, Issue Tracker and other online support features.

  • licensing@emc.comlicensing@emc.com for questions or issues related to product licenses.

For Powerlink issues that require immediate support contact EMC Support at 1-800-SVC-4EMC (1-800-782-4362).

Could you clarify a bit what you are using it for (or hoping to do). Your question is a bit broad for anyone to figure out even where to begin.

The best search results are retrieved by using a targeted search query. The more detailed and specific the query the better. Also, if you need a specific type of content, select the appropriate Support Resource collection area to focus your search.

For example, if you know that you are looking for a Knowledgebase article, you should focus your search on the "Solutions" collection by selecting this value from the All Support Resources drop-down menu in the site header or by selecting the Solutions tab above the search result set. If your search doesn't retrieve the information you were seeking, then you should submit a less specific query in order to retrieve a broader range of content, In general, the most specific queries are usually the most effective.

Know your Support Resource collections and and search the right one:

By default, the Support Resources collection selector is set to "All Support Resources" and your search will return content items from all resources (except Service Requests).

Solutions: This collection contains thousands of EMC-approved articles that offer proven solutions for issues or questions you might encounter when using EMC products.

Documents: This collection contains all of EMC's product documentation, including manuals, guides, white papers, release notes, read me's, and much more.

Issue Tracker: All open or recently fixed defects for EMC products can be found here.

Forums: EMC's customers, partners, and employees are actively corresponding with each other every day about EMC's products, services, and more. Search all of those discussions here.

Service Requests: If you or someone at your site(s) has opened a Service Request with EMC in the last two years, you can perform a full text search for that content here.
