EQL PS6000 CLI
Hi
I have a question. I use to PS6000 and 6100 storage.
Our PS6000 had some problem. because some disk status is different other disks
So, I checked storage that connect to CLI(specially bash shell mode)
And then, I found some thing worng
When I cheked disk status to use "raidtool -Z" command
Disk number 8 status was different other disks
Other disks had number of status "0x000000 .. 400"
but, disk number 8 had 0x000000 .. 008"
So, I want to change the number of status for disk 8
How to change the number?
Please, let me know
Thank you

Hello,
I do have one question. On the drives you are having problem with, are they Dell/.EQL branded drives or just off the shelf drives you installed in the EQL canister? That's not supported, as there is custom firmware on Dell/EQL drives. Such non Dell drives will be excluded automatically,
Regards,
Don

Hello,
Running commands at that level is extremely dangerous and is limited to Support or Engineering personnel. Misuse of those commands could results in a down array or total loss of data. So I'm not going to discuss the use of such commands.
What problem are you actually having? I would suggest you open a support case so they can better assist you.
Regards,
Don

Our storage and disk is dell EQL product right
And actually our RAID has problem
So, we opened the support case and recieved reply from dell support team
But, I can not give up so, I am looking for another solution
And I try again.
I think if I change the disk status forcedly
I should found raid group
So, I want to know command that change disk status

There is no command to arbitrarily set the status on a drive. The drive has determined that is, its status. We are simply reporting it.
