It would depend entirely on the work load.  Using a very small blocksize with sequential IO would result in a very High I/O rate at the expense of throughput.   Large blocksizes generate much lower I/O rates but much greater throughput.

The sales folks have a tool that will help determine with your I/O load what I/O rate you can expect.
