automating PS6100XV setup
I am rolling out dozens of these units to remote sites.
My process for commissioning these now is
1) connect serial cable
2) run setup procedure manually
3) Run a customized configuration script .cli file with the exec command
Is there an easier way to do this?
It seems like a waste the have to run the setup part and on several occasions I've entered the wrong info and had to clear the array.

Your procedures are basically the minimal and there really isn't any other way to automate this further.
One other option for Step 1 & 2 is to use the remote setup wizard or Remote Setup Command Line Utility (RSWCLI). You can run this from a system on the same subnet as the iSCSI traffic but the array hardware must be installed and a network cable must be attached to Ethernet Port 0
Take a look the HITME Installation and user guide for more details. This is available on the HIT for Microsoft download page here: eqlsupport.dell.com (login required).
