1521 vs 1501
Is the 1521 an upgrade to the 1501 or the other way around.
It seems the 1521 has a better screen and video option, other than that, they seem very similar.

Looking on Dells website I only saw the 1501, 1520, and the 1525. So if you are referring to the 1520 it is an upgrade to the 1501. These are all budget laptop but the 1501 is the extreme. 1520 has better processor, intel with more cache. The 1520 offers faster memory 667 mhz, and faster 7200 rpm harddrive. The 1520 also offers a better lcd. The 1501 has the integrated graphics card where the 1520 has 128mb and 256mb nvidia graphics card options.

There is a Inspiron 1521 the drivers are here.

And i think it is a upgrade from the 1501.

The 1521 is a 1520 with an AMD cpu and integrated video. It is a higher level system than the 1501.
