Accidentally deleted Dell DataSafe Local Backup - how to reinstall?
Hi,
I have a Dell Inspiron N5010 purchased about 2 and a half years ago. I was just deleting some random programs which I do't ever use, and accidentally clicked on uninstall Dell Data Safe Local Back up.
Does anyone know how to reinstall it? I tried to do so by clicking this link http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/uk/en/ukdhs1/DriverDetails?driverId=R260476 but it just came up with an error message.
Any ideas?
Many thanks,

Thank you so much for your help.
What happens is, I click "download file", then select the single file download option, click to open the download, save it and unzip the files, a message pops up to say this has happened successfully, then then I click "ok" , another message pops up saying "An error occurred during the process".
Any ideas? Thanks

Thank you!
It has downloaded fine - seems I need to back it up on a USB/dics now? I think I did that when I bought the it a few years ago but have no idea where the discs are, so I will do that soon.
Thank you for your help :-)

I also accidentally deleted local backup.I downloaded it from the link above. It stated passed and allowed me to download it. Would not install due to "Not having a copy of the factory image". Any ideas?

Sir,
Inspiron 1420 (win vista)
After I formatted my lap using the given OS cd, I found (thru device manager) following driver files are missing:
Other devices:
-Base System Device
-Base System Device
-Base System Device
-Network Controller
MY SO FAR ACTIVITIES :
a) Installed Drivers & Utility CDs (2 CDs) given with fresh box, but not working.
b) Secondly, I tried to download driver files from the Dell website also. However both "Analyze" and "Service Tag" options are not working. (seems page error, not opening).
Please would you advise soon what to do further. Thanks
