Adding new Disk (SSD or traiditional) on PowerEdge T110 II

After spending almost the entire day, following sequence of steps worked for me for adding new SSD + one additional hard disk on my Dell PowerEdge T110 II.

• Go in the boot manager by pressing F2

• Ensure the disk volume in which you have added new disk is set to auto, so that it would detect new disk.

• Sata operation can be set to ATA or AHCI (Default) in boot manager.

• Now if you already have windows operating system open device manager and ensure you can see new disk.

• Now go to Disk Management (diskmgmt.msc) and see additional disks, and format them as needed.
