Alienware M17x r4 wi-fi issues
I recently got an m17x with killer wi-fi in it and i'm having problems with it. It works for about 10-15 minutes, stops for a minute, then starts working again. It's only this computer and it's not anything else having this problem so it has to be something with the laptop. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Signex,
Go to Drivers & Downloads enter your service tag number, then select your operating system. Under Network, download and install the latest drivers.
Try these tweaks....
Start, control panel, device manager. Click on Network and then right click on your wireless adapter, left click properties, power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
Go to the power options, and changed the Wireless Adapter Setting, from Maximum Power Setting to Maximum Performance.
For the USB Adapter...
Start, control panel, device manager.
Go to the USB Controller section and click the + sign.
Go to each USB Root Hub and right click on it, left click properties, left click power management. Uncheck the box, allow computer to turn off this device to save power.
Restart your computer.

Signex,
Those tweaks usually help.
I also use these Recommended Wireless Router Settings I use channel 11 and don't have any problems with any device connecting.
