Audio Driver for Inspiron 6400

Hey guys,

 

my friend formatted his laptop for some unknown reason .. and gave it to me to update the drivers.

 

i tried a few off the Dell site, but who knows what chipset etc is in here ?

 

The Laptop is now running windows XP SP2

i see no mention of a specified audio device ?

 

if someone can point me in the right direction as to what driver i should be using ?

 

Or perhaps somewhere to download this 'ResourceCD' they speak of ?

Hi, I clicked on the links you suggested and they no longer work...I really need help my audio drivers were uninstalled or something...I think I got malware and my sound just stopped working....

Please help!
