Audio device on high definition bus
I am having issues with the audio driver on my dell inspiron 1525 laptop. I have already downloaded and installed the file R180044 but i am still seeing an error with the message: Audio Device on High definition bus. pls hel. i use windows XP.

Audio Device on HD Audio Bus is also the name of the HDMI audio driver within the graphics driver. Try installing the graphics driver and see if the message goes away.
Why did you install the audio driver -- are you having audio problems or did you re-install XP?

Thank you. We had to do a complete reinstall on my computer and I kept getting a "new hardware found: Audio Device on HD Audio Bus". I do have an aftermarket gfx card, and I hadn't yet installed the drivers to it. But, I didn't realize the two were related. This is EXACTLY what the problem was with my computer. Thank you, thank you, thank you :)
