Battery Driver

Question

Hi, After a system crash I needed to reinstall some of the drivers for the laptop. I installed the vga and modem drivers, but I can't find the battery driver anywhere in the backup files. I don't have the installation cd either :-(.  The battery won't charge now. Three lights show (out of 5) when I press the battery.   Can I download the driver from somewhere?   Thanks....

Hi,

There is no battery driver. If you have 1 3 and 5 battery Leds showing, the battery is faulty. The charging is controlled by the Bios.
