Battery Status Icon in Task Bar
I have a INSPIRON 1545 and used to have Battery/AC status Icon in my Task-Bar & it;s gone, even when I reset the Properties in POWER section of Control-Panel to show this Icon & even select "always show" this Icon in Task-Bar (in desktop settings), it appears but doesn't return after Log-off/Log-on. I think it has something to do with DELL QUICKSET software which was installed during auto-updates. It probably is overriding the Windows Power Management settings. Choosing the QUICKSET Icon in task-bar doesn't help, since u need to open the application & go to the specific page to see the battery status. I want to be able to see it always in my task-bar. CAN U HELP? MY EMAIL: <ADMIN NOTE:Email Id removed per privacy policy> THX

Windows 7 - right click on the task bar at the bottom right on the screen, select properties, notification area/customize, and select "turn system icons on or off". Select to turn power on.
