Same problem for a Latitude E5410. Need Bios A10 update before the downloaded A11 & A13 will work.

The Bios can be directly updated to A11 or A13. Refer the links to update Bios.

To update the BIOS to A11, updating it to A10 is not required. Few things to ensure before updating the Bios is, the Ac Adapter should be plugged in and the battery should have minimum of 10% charge. No other peripherals should be connected to the computer. Please ensure that the Bios update should not be interrupted.
