Buzzing sound while scrolling on external screen.

Question

Hey, I just bought a Dell XPS 13 computer and it has been really good except for one thing. When I scroll a website with a mouse wheel or the two-finger gesture on the touchpad, the computer makes a buzzing sound. It happens only on the external monitor, if I move the browser to internal monitor it doesn't buzz. I guess it has something to do with the DisplayPort connector or the graphics card. Is there anything I could do to it?

Hi Nomafin,

I recommend you to connect another known good monitor or connect this monitor to another laptop and check if there is a buzzing sound. I also suggest you to check with a known good cable.

Please check for buzzing sound in any other application other than the websites
