C++ Runtime error

Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium.  I have encountered a runtime error message as follows:

"Program:...Data Safe Local Back Up\Components\DSUpdate\DSUpdate.exe.  Abnormal program termination."

That's pretty much it, no error code or numbers.

This was a window that popped up titled;  Runtime error,  Microsoft Visual C++Runtime Library, with the above error message in the window. My Laptop is Alienware 14m and many of my games crashes i am not sure if it has anything to do with this error.
