CMOS RTC FAILURE
SIR,,WHEN I POWER ON MY LAPTOP......CMOS RTC FAILURE IS SHOWN ,,,,,,WTH BEEP SOUND OF 5 TIMES,,,,,IT GET REPEATED....PLEASE TELL ME THE TOTAL EXPENDITURE OF NEW CMOS BATTERY FOR INSPIRON N5010....,,
IS THERE ANY ISSUE ON MY MOTHERBOARD????

If the CMOS battery is at fault, it's $5 or less. If it's the realtime clock chip that has failed, the mainboard needs to be replaced.
