Chromebook 11 battery failure
I have a Chromebook 11 just two years old. The battery has stopped working. It won't charge. Have done powerwash restoration; have unseated the battery and then reconnected. Everything else recommended. With the Crosh utility, a battery test comes up with "no battery found". The computer works plugged in. Battery light is constantly flashing yellow.
Wondering how many other people have had such a problem and if any have a fix. Or is it just, sigh, another Dell computer that doesn't survive past 2 years?

Just for the record for anyone interested, the battery on my my Dell Chromebook 11 has become useless dead weight. Like others have reported, there is an apparent failure on the motherboard which makes the machine no longer connect to, recognize or charge the battery. Have seen no solution anywhere to this. The computer is just two years old.

There are three versions of the Chromebook 11 (3120/3180/3189). Is this the Chromebook 11-3120? If yes, check the battery part number. If it is KTCCN, it should be replaced with XKPD0.
