Code 43 - Graphics driver problem (Inspiron 15 7559 w/ Nvidia GTX 960M)

Hi, I have posted on multiple forums and been searching like crazy for a solution to this problem, but I am getting nowhere. Any assistance here would be truly appreciated

So here's what has happened: I was playing a game last week and it froze/crashed my laptop. Upon restarting, I would get a black screen after Windows 10 logo that never went away. Finally figured out while troubleshooting that I could boot in Safe Mode. I tried repairing Windows, re-installing Windows, updating drivers, etc. until I tried disabling the Intel HD Graphics 530 display adapter. My PC finally booted... but that was just the start.

After re-installing updates and programs, I tried playing a couple games, but everything was running at like 5 FPS. Turned out when I looked at Device Manager that my Nvidia driver was not taking when I would install it.

I eventually somehow fixed the black-screen on Windows logo problem when the Intel adapter was enabled, but I still cannot get my Nvidia driver/card to be activated by the PC. I have tried running Dell diagnostics, but since it does not detect the Nvidia card, it runs it for the Intel one instead. When I disable the Intel one, it does not detect any graphics drivers.

I have also checked the OS and hard drive; both come back with clean bills. Dell's driver update detect page says everything is up to date, except for "Chipset |Intel Management Engine Interface Driver," which keeps claiming it needs to be updated every time I do it.

I am beginning to worry that this is a physical failure of the graphics card, in which case I will be incredibly displeased as this laptop is A) LESS THAN 2 YEARS OLD; B) Very infrequently used for any stressful graphics card work; and C) in otherwise perfect working condition, as I take good care of my tech. Please advise, and thank you!
