Thank you ,

i read something about calculation of WAtts needed.

if someone has the same question, here's something you need to know.

to calculate what is the WATTS needed for your system, check your ac adapter and multiply V *A

Ex : i have 19.5V ac adapter and its output is 3.34

19.5 x 3.34 = 65.1 , so i need to get 65 WATTS haha

Hi,

Welcome to the Community. The Inspiron N4010 uses a 65-watt AC adapter for Integrated (UMA) video and a 90-watt AC adapter for discrete video.

Thank you

thank you very much , last question. As i said i want to buy AC adapter for my 14R. What are the specs of the ac adapter should i get. I am using this one at the moment.

PA-12 Family

P/n KTG9R

MOdel fa065sls1-01

input : 100-240V ~50-60Hz 1.7A

output 19.5v 3.34A

I see similar specs on other AC adapters, but the output is 4.62A

is it compatible?

My laptop back states that my input is 19.5 v but current is 3.34/4.62a

Which adapter should I go for 65 W or 90?
