Computer making Siren Sound on Start up!
Hello,
Just today my computer gave me an error message, saying that it would shut down in _____ seconds. And counted down until it shut off. Then when I restarted, it made a horrific Siren sound, and continued to buzz every second or so. Then finally stopped. I've restarted the computer many times, both in Safe mode and regular boot. I flashed the Bios, and still it makes a horrific Siren sound right after start up and then beeps at least a few times afterwards. This is a two year old M65. Any help would be great, thanks.

Welcome to the forums Matt :emotion-5:
You've got a major hardware problem of some sort :emotion-3: :emotion-6: Unfortunately however, it's impossible to determine what it is, with just the information provided (not your fault).
In a desktop system, you would normally hear a specific number of beeps during the boot process, which is how you (eventually) determine what the error is related to.
But if all you're hearing is a siren, I haven't a clue what it might be. Unless Dell have it set up to sound the siren for a specific problem, it could be anything?
Did you take out an extended warranty? If it's still under warranty, you need to get onto tech support immediately.
In fact - even if it's not under warranty, you should phone tech support. It'll likely cost you, but you need to speak to somebody ASAP!
Even if it's just to ask them what specific problem the siren signifies?
