DELL 5520 JUST WHEN DEAD
I was using my computer and the battery was low so i plugged it in, after a few mins the laptop shut off, it was strange because the laptop was plugged in. I kept pressing power but the laptop refuse to turn on, I notice that the power light was not on ..on the charger so i unplug it from the wall an plug it back in an the light came back on .. on the charger but when i plug it into the laptop the light keeps cutting off on the charger. I try a different charger but the same thing happen i even change the charging port an its the same thing

Hi kaleem619,
If the light on the adapter turns off when connected to the system the issue seems to be with the System Board.
I would suggest that you follow the steps mentioned below and check for issue resolution.
Let us know your findings.

I did what was suggested an it did not work, the system failed to power up, any other suggestions ?

This looks to be an issue with the System Board and has to be replaced.
