Date and time keep resetting
Hi there,
I sure this has been asked before. I've got a Dell XPS M1330, recently everytime I turn the laptop off. Leave it for a while and then turn it back on the the clock has stayed at the same time it was when I shut it down. I've tried changing the cmos battery and its still doing the same thing.
Any ideas what else I can try as it's starting to get on my nervers!

Hi CanhamG,
Please follow the steps provided below that may fix the Date and Time resetting issue:
1. Remove the battery.
2. Remove the CMOS battery.
3. Remove the AC adapter.
4. Hold down the power button for 20 seconds to drain the system of all power.
5. Continue holding the Power button and connect the AC Adapter.
6. The laptop would boot into the Diagnostics mode.
Reconnect the batteries after the Diagnostics and let me know if this fixed the issue.
