After some research and some install and uninstall I found out what is going on.
Dell Notebook 5537 works with HD 4400 Intel Graphic Card (integrated) and 8850M AMD Graphic Card (dedicated). They both work together, switching between each other when they need to.
To make them both work, you SHOULD install Intel Graphic Card Drivers first. You can download it from Intel website: File name: Win64_15338.exe Driver name: Intel® Iris™ and HD graphics Driver for Windows 7/8/8.1* 64
By now, your display features should fully works.
Right then, you should install the latest mobility AMD Driver.
I couldn't download from AMD website at this time (they may uploaded a corrupted file) so I downloaded it from another website and calculated the MD5sum to verify the file integrity. (MD5 7F919CD5529ECFC8FCF52090C671B83E)
Before AMD Driver install, everything should run pretty smooth, with ALL graphic issues solved. As you can see, there's a new option on your desktop menu, something like "config comutable graphic" or "switchable". (I don't know how it's written in english, mine is in portuguese)
If everything doesn't work as it should be, uninstall everything and do these steps again from the beginnig.
Pretty good for a lawyer, huh? I probably would do great on TI :)
I may be in the same situation as you are . I have a Dell Inspiron that when new it came loaded with Windows Vista, when Win7 was introduced I went ahead and purchased and installed it myself over the . All was well for about a year but then things started to happen, my secondary DVD stopped working, Windows update would no longer configure the loaded updates. Drivers started to malfunction and could not be updated. important security settings were being changed without my doing it or noticing that it had happened for some time. I tried to repair things by researching the error codes that appeared and following suggestions provided, It would seem I was making progress but than everything that I thought I had repaired all popped up again and again.
I tried to work on the problems using the Dell support center that is available for those who's warranties have long ago expired. I finally noticed a message in that site stating that Dell was aware that there were problems with installing Win 7 over Win Vista and that I was to call Dell for answers. After getting bounced around to several different support people I finally got one that gave me the bad news and told me that my computer could not be upgraded to Win 7 and that if you did it would work ok for a while but over time things would quickly go bad as in my situation.
I am now trying to minimize the damage and am trying to just reactivate the original Win Vista but am having problems doing so. I do still have the windows.old folder in my c drive and have tried reinstalling the system using that but am still having problems doing so. If anybody has already dealt with this situation or has any suggestions your help would be greatly appreciated.

i have the same issue. right now i'm downloading from a different place here (some random storage file), since AMD driver itself doesn't install properly. later i'll check if the size match (or any other information that i can get of this file, run malware/antivirus and install this thing if it is autentic.).
hope it works for me. still downloading. the file name is "13-9_mobility_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql.exe".
Driver is installed, but after the first reset, I have an error message. If I try a lot of version of Catalysts from AMD, the situation is same!
I tried a lot of variation with Intel Graphic and Radeon: first installing Intel, after Radeon. After this first install .Net 4 and Radeon, after Intel, all attemps was time wasting.
Please make a WORKING driver for this video card under Windows 7, because the Win8 and 8.1 are a useless and shiftless.

i have already tried driver detection services from AMD and elsewhere, most of them fail "no driver to support this version of windows" or something.
think link, finds driver, downloads it, but when the "run" button emerges, it seems to be "unclickable"... :/
