Look at the adapters, they will be PA10 or PA12. There should be a lable underneath [ the computer ] to say which are OK.

Yes, the adapter is in the PA-10 family and the Dell laptop will take an adapter from the PA-10 or PA-12 family.  So the adapter I have should be OK.
