Dell Diagnostics - where does log/report get saved

Hi - I ran the Dell Diagnostics on my studio 1537 (using F12 function) and did the extended test, but it had problems.  I then ran again doing 'custom', selecting each piece of hardware one at a time to run diagnostics on, and it showed the reports and errors on the right hand side of the screen.  Dell has arranged to replace my hard drive, but I want to copy my log file/report first from the diagnostics, and can't find it.  Can anyone help?

thanks

:^/ The only approach that springs to mind just now is to run a search for files, and set the tool to find all files of any kind.  Then, sort the results by time.  The ones most recently modified may be the ones created by the diagnostics software.  They may have no file extensions, or extensions that don't mean anything to you, but if you toss them into a hex editor, it will show you what they say, if it's legible.

On the other hand, it's entirely possible that the diagnostic tools only store their results in RAM, and that they're erased when you reboot.  Still, it's worth a shot....
