Dell E5440: Fingerprint doesn't work when upgraded to Windows 10

Hello Dell Corp. Please help me to solve this old issue (which happened with many other customers).

My laptop is dell E5440 and it's Fingerprint work well with windows 8.1, but now I cannot use this function in windows 10. I have been tried some other ways to solve this issue (for ex: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3518/t/19646053) but it still doesn't work.

Have dell and Microsoft solved this issue?

Try uninstalling the fingerprint software from Programs and Features if you see it listed there, then going into Device Manager and uninstalling the fingerprint reader device itself, checking the box to also delete the driver files.  Then restart and install the Windows 10 driver.

Thank you for helping me, Jesse-l.

I did as you suggested several times, with exactly the same driver (or file) you've mentioned, but Windows Hello still says "Sorry, something went wrong" . Before installing this driver, I had uninstalled Biometric device (Validity sensors) in the "Device Manager" box.

I still need your help. Can you give me another suggestion? Now my laptop's OS is Windows 10 pro 64bit.
