Hi Kiongo,
Let's try the following steps:
Drain the residual power from the laptop:
I would also recommend you to try to run the on-board diagnostics:
Please hover the mouse on the battery icon on the taskbar, check the message plugged in,charging / plugged in,not charging).
Please reply if you have any questions.

Hi Kiongo,
Thank you for the response. Let's try the following steps.
Please update the BIOS:
Note: Before updating BIOS please ensure that:
*Battery is 10%> or >10% charged
*Battery charger should be connected
*No external devices (flash drives, printers, external hard drives) should be connected
*All other programs should be closed and documents saved
Now, calibrate the battery:

Hi Kiongo,
Are you able to use the computer only on battery?
What happens when you disconnect the AC Adapter from the laptop?
Did you try a different battery or an Alternate AC Adapter (if available)?
Please hover the mouse on the battery icon on the taskbar, check the message plugged in,charging / plugged in,not charging. Share a screenshot if possible.
I would also suggest you to check the AC Adapter status in BIOS:
Please reply if you have any questions.

Hi Kiongo,
I would suggest you to check the AC Adapter status in BIOS as mentioned in my previous post. Check the message if it shows None / Not Detected. Please connect an alternate AC Adapter and check in BIOS. In case BIOS shows None / Not Detected, then perform BIOS defaults.
On the BIOS screen:
If the above steps do not work, there might be an issue with the charger port or the motherboard and may require replacement.
Please reply if you have any questions.
