actually, i don't have the disc, my dad just bought it 2nd hand without any disc. And the problem is that, i'm having trouble with my internet connection too, I guess d600 is wifi ready. Our house is wifi but I can't connect it to wifi. If I connect it to internet, it'll easier for me to update drivers. But the sound is a diffirent story.

Hello. Please see the "No Audio" FAQ for how to diagnose the symptom of having no audio at all. Updating the BIOS is not one of the steps mentioned in the FAQ because there is no BIOS version that causes the "no audio" symptom, so there is no BIOS update that addresses that particular symptom.
Right after the operating system installation, did you install the Dell Notebook System Software and restart, then the Intel Mobile Chipset driver and restart? If not then the Sigmatel driver would not have installed correctly. You did not mention your OS but assuming it is XP -- and if it is some other OS you need to say so -- then the Sounds properties should look like this with "Sigmatel" showing as the default playback device and very little grayed out:
If you are satisfied that the Sigmatel driver is fully installed then I agree with Elijah O that it is a hardware problem. If it is the audio chip on the motherboard there is little you can do except get a usb sound card. However when the chip has become faulty then often the driver will not install because the OS will not see the hardware.
Other possibilities include a bad contact in the headphone jack or a loose connection to the palm rest, but in both of those events usually you would get some audio from the headphones.
Another thing that can go wrong is the modem. It is connected with the audio system and can cause problems if it dies. The way to diagnose is to physically remove it from the laptop and then reinstall the audio driver. If the modem was bad then sound will come back. To remove it you have to remove the keyboard, the display, and the palm rest. I suggest you download the D600 Service Manual which has instructions for the disassembly. Note that the modem was optional on the D600 so yours might not have one. D600 Service Manual & User Guide.

Can't think of any other hardware possibilities right now. There are several things that can go wrong with Windows that are mentioned in the FAQ, but normally those would be cured by reinstalling the OS which you have done.
